Non-Arabic speaking Muslims may try to memorize some of the major Duas in Arabic and can and do understand what’s being said.
But one thing that’s often forgotten about Dua is that it’s direct communication with Allah. And Allah is multilingual. He actually created and knows all languages, whether it’s the specific dialect of your village back home or the street talk of urban America.
The Prophet(SAW) said: Duas of three persons are not refused: a fasting man when breaking the fast, a just ruler, and an oppressed person, Allah’s blessings be upon him. (Abu Huraira in Tirmidhi).
No one makes a Dua without Allah giving him what he asks for, or keeping away from him a similar amount of evil, provided he does not ask for something sinful, or for breaking family ties (Jabir related this as the Prophet(SAW) saying: Tirmidhi).
A Prayer for Syria.
Pray for the People of Syria, where so many are being killed and thousands are fleeing or attempting to flee. Pray that they will be protected and that the peace of Allah will fill their hearts.
In the midst of the chaos, pray that Allah will touch every heart with his love, care and peace.
Pray that those who have lost loved ones will experience Allahs' peace and faith in the hereafter.
Pray that Allah will bring about the resolution to this conflict according to his perfect plan.
May peace spring up for the people of Syria, deeply wounded and divided by a conflict which does not spare even the defenseless and reaps innocent victims.
AR-RAHMÂN, Hear the cries of the people of Syria, Bring healing to those suffering from the violence, Bring comfort to those mourning the dead, Strengthen Syria’s neighbours in their care and welcome for refugees, And protect those committed to peace.
- Amiin ya Rabbi al - Amiin ..
Oh! Children of Syria.. O children of Syria: sleep now my beloved ones, sleep with happy dreams,
You will never be forgotten - but now we place you in the care of Sārah and Sayyidina Ibrāhīm.
We place our trust in Allāh jalla wa ‘alā – who said to His loyal slaves:
“We unite the believers with their offspring who followed them in faith”
Thus wait for us in the meantime: play, smile, be happy! Peace!
We will join you soon in Jannah - In shaa Allah - for the start of wonders that will never cease.
A Prayer for our Ummah 1.
Oh Allah, the most magnificent, most high, most merciful lord of the worlds help each and every believing brother & believing sister from the Oppression & from the evil actions of the tyrants who oppress..Allah taala your help is needed by the one who is being oppressed Oh Allah, bring that help which was with our beloved Prophet s.a.w and his righteous Sahaabah's, that help which was instant, victorious & in favour of the believers
AMIIN
A Prayer for our Ummah 2.
When we will be asked about our youth?
Will we say the things we done truth?
Will our diplomas and degrees come in use?
Or will they bring us bad news?
We blanked Islam for education- and got in to the non-Islamic generation.
The friends we trusted- with whom we had fun, stopped us from entering the gates of heaven.
The requirements are simple, the reward is high - be prepared, think well before you die.
A garden of paradise or a pit of hell- the choice is yours! So think well!
Sacrifice your short journey here- for in the hereafter you will have no fear.
Two shoes of boiling fire he will wear- his brain will melt, his body will tear.
The person will scream and will not know- this is only the lowest punishment, Allah will give.
Day by day as our life decreases- day by day as our sins increase.
Day by day as our deeds change into sins- another day the shaytan wins.
For on that day when we’ll be scaled!
Think- will we win or will we fail?
May Allah save us all, Ameen.
A Prayer for the Ummah 3.
May Allah forgive and help all of us, may we be victorous in our struggle against Oppression and Tyrany. May all the cries and plees of our persecuted Ummah be heard in the hour of need. i seek refuge by Allah from the devil from this lifes fitnah, and i ask Allah to forgive me,my parents and all my family of Muslims on the day of judgement. May Allah give peace to all .. Amiin .
A Prayer for the Ummah 4.
Each tear has been counted and those who are the oppressors will feel the pain of each tear in their own heart. And this judgment is merciful as well as just.
For the oppressor will be given time to repent of his sin, but if he does not throw himself into the mercy of Allah, his just punishment will be severe, according to his fault.
Do not let up on your prayers! Pray for the oppressed, but also for the oppressor. The oppressed will be rewarded and comforted in ways unimagined, but Allah takes no delight in an unrepentant heart that chooses judgment over mercy. Be agents of His mercy and pray unceasingly.
O my Allah, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls to Jannah, especially those most in need of your mercy. Allah, be with the oppressed and grant Peace to all those suffering Amiin

A Tear for the Ummah (Poem)
Ignorance and injustice, the world was blind
unable to perceive with their hearts and mind.
The right path to Allah, they could no longer find
so Muhammed was sent as a guide to mankind.
The prophet was sent with teachings so pure
never to be corrupted, forever to endure.
Its truth and wisdom would mankind lure
for the illness in the hearts it was a cure.
The prophet was persecuted by the sword.
bribery was offered but he did not hoard.
Compromising he rejected on his own accord.
because one day we will have to face our Lord.
He was persecuted, beaten and even bled.
During this persecution many ended up dead,
or were beaten without mercy, bruised and red.
Leaving everything behind, Makkah they fled.
They were tortured with fire burning bright,
and for their very existence they had to fight.
They stood up for what is good and right
so it could reach us, this illuminating light.
The prophet prayed much for you and me
so that from the Fire we could be free.
For our well being, to Allah he did plea.
so much fear and worry for every Ummati
The prophet prayed whilst others were asleep
and for his Ummah many tears he would weep.
so that Islam in our hearts we could keep
and the best in the hereafter we could reap.
Remember the suffering of our beloved
and in vain he didn't shed his blood,
and in vain didn't suffer injury in Uhud,
and in vain he never, for the truth, stood.
Brothers and sisters you must awake
the promise the world offers is fake
The first few steps of Islam we must take
with conviction this decision we must make
What will we say when we face our Maker?
that Islam to us had become a stranger
No longer emotions did the message stir
instead life passed us by - like a blur
Face the truth, there is no way out
we weren't sent here to mess about
The life we are living is worth nowt
the real life is the next - without doubt
Make preparations, before we die
stand up for the truth and leave the lie.
The teachings of Islam you must apply
to follow Allah's command we must try
We have a sworn enemy called Shaytan
from the days of Adam he hates man.
He has his agenda and his own plan
to distract you from the worship of the One
Hold firmly to Islam - the Deen-ul-Haq
see your goal clearly and don't turn back
Definitely the Shaytan with retaliate and attack
so determination to succeed you must not lack
With every ounce of energy you must strive
and every teaching of Islam you must revive.
Only then in our lives Islam with thrive
with Iman in our hearts we will be alive
If the teachings of Islam we uphold
in heaven we go where we never grow old
In this Jannah there are pleasures untold
which no mind or eye can ever behold
You know all the facts, it is your call
Simply - take the shot you have the ball
Your decision determines your rise or fall
death is in hot pursuit, so do not stall
The prophet's sacrifices we must respect
On the hardships he suffered we must reflect
The prophets advise we must not neglect
Let your heart guide you to what is correct
Make the decision and call the shot
time is a commodity you haven't got.
Make the right decision - don't get caught
Seek the truth as it should be sought !

Our Children are our Future.
As we send our children to school remember they are our future and what we mold into them that will be the making of them. They are the new generation who will take us the new human race into the future of love and peace. At the same time don't forget children in war zones who want to go to school but are faced with acts of violence. Lets send them loving thoughts and pray that they too can study in peace, live a life that our children are living.
We will see love and peace in this life time as it's written in our destiny to deliver. inshaa'Allah
The Prayer of the Oppressed: -
1. O You, whose mercy is a refuge for all those In dire need who flee to You to lose their woes,
2. O master of reprieve, whose pardon is so near,You answer all in need; they know that You do hear!
3. We beg for Your relief, redeemer of the weak;You are enough for us, both humbled and so meek.
4. No strength can ever match Your awesome majesty,No might can ever breach Your just authority.
5. The kings all bow like us to Your great sovereignty,You choose whom to abase or raise decisively.
6. Calamities we face are only stopped by You; It’s in Your Hands: they are dissolved within Your view.
7. For solace in these states, we turn to You alone,Complaining that we cannot make it on our own.
8. Be merciful with us—You know our frailty.O You whose mercy falls like rain unceasingly,
9. Please look upon us now in all our misery,Our state as souls oppressed displayed so openly:
10. Our numbers are reduced, our former wealth effaced,Our once exalted rank and high repute abased;
11. They think us without strength, and deem us without power,Our numbers in their eyes seem easy to devour.
12. O You whose mighty kingdom never becomes less, We hope to take asylum in divine largesse;
13. Haven of the helpless, upon You we depend;Helper of the hapless, we trust in Your godsend!
14. You are the one we call: relieve our heavy loads, Repel our life’s travails, abolish what corrodes!
15. Your protection only, Your providence that’s true,The door is Yours alone that everything comes through.
16. You are the only one whose bounteous door we seek,Most generous of givers, O Lord, You are unique.
17. You bring us to the path should we all go astray And overlook our slips when we lose our way;
18. All created things You hold in Your embrace,With mercy and with light, the compass of Your grace.
19. Nothing in existence is able to compare With just how base we are in mortality’s affair.
20. O infinite in beauty, whose endless good befalls The creatures You have made, so answer all our calls!
21. You alone save drowning souls, so gracious with our states,Rescuing the doomed, relieving our dire straits:
22. Constriction is increasing, there is no cure in sight,So hasten to our needs, respond to set them right!
23. Our hands are raised to You, our palms are open wide:We seek sincerely endless grace You do provide.
24. Be gentle with our souls in all You have decreed,Bestow on us what pleases You in what we need.
25. Replace our state of hardship with Your gentle ease,And guide us with Your power’s prevailing breeze,
26. And place our status over those who took our lands,Constrain their evil now, and tightly bind their hands;
27. Overcome our foes with Your subduing might,Unravel all their hopes, and force them to take flight;
28. Deter their evil aims, and dash their unjust plan;Repel them from our gates, and mystify each man.
29. Be swift in justice, Lord, in this our anxious hour,For they cannot remove an atom of Your power.
30. O Lord, by holding on to Your most gracious rope,We bind it to our faith, and knot it to our hope.
31. So stand for us today, don’t counter what we try, Forsake us not, O Lord, the blinking of an eye.
32. We’re powerless to stop this onslaught of their force, Or strategize to benefit our country’s course.
33. We seek no good except what flows from Your wide door And yearn for grace that comes from Your unending more.
34. All thoughts within our hearts will find serenity Through God who fashions all by only saying: “Be!”
35. O Lord, by You alone, we will achieve our end,By You, through You, Your means to You—our only friend.
36. Sustainer of us all, O towering support,Our Lord who grants us all defense within His fort,
37. Secure our hearts within Your glorious defense, In restless journeys far or in our residence;
38. Protect our herds, preserve our crops, increase our gains,And give and bless our commerce with approving rains;
39. Fill our land with good prosperity,Release our citizens from dire poverty;
40. Establish righteous rule while granting noble station,With high respect and dignity in every nation;
41. Hide its natural strength in guarded secret trust,And veil its protection in a graceful, gracious mist.
42. By the sacred sounds of |ad and q¥f, and holy n‰n,A thousand veils enfolding to protect our land from ruin,
43. By the rank of all the light from this Your Noble Face And sacred estimation of Your vast dominion’s space,
44. By the elevated rank of “There is no god but God”And Your beloved chosen one who lived in purity, awed,
45. By the rank of every prophet, who ever called on You,By the rank of every saint, who ever sought from You,
46. By the rank of humanity’s blessèd Pole and Pillars too,All solitary saints and inspired words1 from You,
47. By the rank of those select and pious overseers,Chosen spiritual substitutes for those departing here,
48. By the rank of faithful devotees who live in dignity,Who praise their God in gratitude for His decree,
49. By the rank of everyone You raise to noble heights, Among those You conceal or those You bring to light,
50. By the rank of every sign in Your Book’s revelation And the greatest name concealed in veiled occultation,
51. Lord, we stand before You now, bereft without You, lost,Without design or strategy, by every tempest tossed;
52. We call on You with prayers of those who are infused With knowledge that their Lord is One who won’t refuse;
53. Accept this prayer, O Lord: with nothing but Your grace,Remove all just deserts and show us mercy’s face;
54. Reveal to us Your gifts, bestow on us Your favor With kindness that befits a gentle, clement savior;
55. Envelop us, O Lord, within Your mercy’s sea,And rain on us Your grace that falls abundantly;
56. From all our words and deeds, choose those that remain The highest and the best, so heaven is our gain;
57. O Plenitude, fill our lives and hearts with pure devotion,In perfect harmony with Your Prophet’s generous ocean,
58. And bring to focus all our aims into a single goal:Complete and blissful knowledge of You within our soul!
59. Let us always act, Lord, in accord with A^mad’s way,Directing all our hopes to a joyful Judgment Day;
60. Always lead us, Lord, to what is right and true,The path real martyrs take and those who gaze on You;
61. Raise our children up as brave and pious scholars Who base their days on Your sweet light as true exemplars;
62. And unify the hearts of family and of friends,Facilitate for us in making our amends;
63. O Lord, bestow a clear decisive victory On all who aid this way and restore its dignity;
64. Possessor of great might, aid him and those who serve,And fill their hearts with aspirations they deserve;
65. Aid us in the light of this Mu^ammad’s way,And make its glorious end as bright as its first day;
66. Protect it through the works of its faithful and true scholars And elevate its lights to its rightful radiant colors;
67. Pardon and forgive us, and keep us safe from ill,And all submitted ones who seek to know Your will;
68. Bestow Your lordly solace on the perfect Chosen One, Your plenitudinous grace upon his dazzling sun;
69. Bestow on him a peace that befits his holy stature In accordance with the pure nobility of his nature
70. And on his noble family down the ages, everyone,Companions, followers, every daughter, every son.
71. Praise belongs to God alone, with a praise so direct All praising seekers find their goal among the elect.

A Prayer for the Ummah 6.
May Allah swt bring this Ummah together, guide us to the truth and make us stand for justice for all mankind.May Allah guide those who are lost, and strengthen those whom he have blessed with guidance,protect us from the evil of the people of evil and the shaitan,and bless us with Noor from his Noor. I am a Muslim (Poem).
We are all Muslims as you all see,
Regardless of the place where we may be.
Brother in India, in Morocco and wherever!
To me you are my heart and liver.
Climb the hill and cry for sure,
“I am a Muslim” and nothing more.
A Prayer for the Ummah 7.
Ya'Allah, I pray for oppressed people everywhere. The injustices I see among the people of the world toward one another, and at times, find even in myself, rise from our failure to appreciate and recognize our fellowship.
Grant peace and security to those who are poor, sick, or disabled, and those who suffer the ravages of war and the natural disasters of earth. Grant us the wisdom to deal honestly and uprightly with people of all races and cultures. Help us to overcome the prejudices we harbor within ourselves.
Help me to realize the equality of all people in their rights to life, freedom, and happiness in this world and in the next. May I do my part to recognize and serve You in my brothers and sisters. Amiin.
A Prayer for the Ummah 8.
You really do get one life, live it well and do your very best to do good for not only you but everyone around you. No one knows what's waiting on the other side until our time comes to meet our creator. That is when your real tests will begin, so if you need to ask for forgiveness, do that and start from the first step again? Just too many deaths and it really does make you think.
Every soul that the angels have taken this week, may they get to heaven safely? Let's all send out loving prayers for loved ones who they have left behind? Ameen
A Prayer for the Ummah 9.

A Prayer for the Ummah 10.
Oh Allah, I thank You for this day.
I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning.
I’m blessed because You are a forgiving Allah and an understanding
Allah. You have done so much for me and your Ummah and You keep on blessing us.
Forgive us this day for everything we have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you…
I ask now for Your forgiveness.
Please keep us safe from all danger and harm especially the whispers of Shaytaan.
Help us to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude.
Let us make the best of each and every day.
To clear our minds so that we can hear from You.
Please broaden our minds that we can accept all things.
Let us not whine and whimper over things we have no control over.
It’s the best response when we're pushed beyond our limits.
Continue to use us to do what You will, Oh Allah!!!
Continue to bless us, so that we may be a blessing to others.
Keep us strong so that we may help the weak…
Keep us uplifted so that we may have words of encouragement for others.
I make dua for those that are lost and can’t find their way.
I make dua for those that are misjudged and misunderstood.
I make dua for those who don’t know You..
I make dua for those that don’t believe.
But I thank You that I believe.
I believe that O’Allah You change people and O’Allah You change things.
I make dua for Imaan, Noor, Peace, Love, Joy, Health, Happiness and Wealth to enter the homes and the hearts of the Ummah so that all their needs are met.
I make dua that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance or situation greater than our Rabb.
Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. O’Allah accept this humble dua of mine. Aameen Thuma Aameen.

I look at this Ummah, their pain their suffering and I asked myself, when this will come to an end, when we will have a happy Ummah with no tears, no wars, no suffering. Children play and laugh instead of lying in hospitals with no body parts. babies born in tents in no mans land.I wonder and I wonder some more and at the end I submit to Allah and ask:
Oh Allah you know what I know not, give us patience, guide us and help us to remain steadfast upon the deen and admit all those who have been killed unjustly into Jannatul Firdoz...Ameen.

10. Our numbers are reduced, our former wealth effaced,Our once exalted rank and high repute abased;
11. They think us without strength, and deem us without power,Our numbers in their eyes seem easy to devour.
12. O You whose mighty kingdom never becomes less, We hope to take asylum in divine largesse;
17. You bring us to the path should we all go astray And overlook our slips when we lose our way;
25. Replace our state of hardship with Your gentle ease,And guide us with Your power’s prevailing breeze,
26. And place our status over those who took our lands,Constrain their evil now, and tightly bind their hands;
27. Overcome our foes with Your subduing might,Unravel all their hopes, and force them to take flight;
36. Sustainer of us all, O towering support,Our Lord who grants us all defense within His fort,
37. Secure our hearts within Your glorious defense, In restless journeys far or in our residence;
38. Protect our herds, preserve our crops, increase our gains,And give and bless our commerce with approving rains;
39. Fill our land with good prosperity,Release our citizens from dire poverty;
40. Establish righteous rule while granting noble station,With high respect and dignity in every nation;
41. Hide its natural strength in guarded secret trust,And veil its protection in a graceful, gracious mist.
42. By the sacred sounds of |ad and q¥f, and holy n‰n,A thousand veils enfolding to protect our land from ruin,
43. By the rank of all the light from this Your Noble Face And sacred estimation of Your vast dominion’s space,
44. By the elevated rank of “There is no god but God”And Your beloved chosen one who lived in purity, awed,
45. By the rank of every prophet, who ever called on You,By the rank of every saint, who ever sought from You,
46. By the rank of humanity’s blessèd Pole and Pillars too,All solitary saints and inspired words1 from You,
47. By the rank of those select and pious overseers,Chosen spiritual substitutes for those departing here,
48. By the rank of faithful devotees who live in dignity,Who praise their God in gratitude for His decree,
49. By the rank of everyone You raise to noble heights, Among those You conceal or those You bring to light,
50. By the rank of every sign in Your Book’s revelation And the greatest name concealed in veiled occultation,
51. Lord, we stand before You now, bereft without You, lost,Without design or strategy, by every tempest tossed;
52. We call on You with prayers of those who are infused With knowledge that their Lord is One who won’t refuse;
53. Accept this prayer, O Lord: with nothing but Your grace,Remove all just deserts and show us mercy’s face;
54. Reveal to us Your gifts, bestow on us Your favor With kindness that befits a gentle, clement savior;
55. Envelop us, O Lord, within Your mercy’s sea,And rain on us Your grace that falls abundantly;
56. From all our words and deeds, choose those that remain The highest and the best, so heaven is our gain;
57. O Plenitude, fill our lives and hearts with pure devotion,In perfect harmony with Your Prophet’s generous ocean,
58. And bring to focus all our aims into a single goal:Complete and blissful knowledge of You within our soul!
59. Let us always act, Lord, in accord with A^mad’s way,Directing all our hopes to a joyful Judgment Day;
60. Always lead us, Lord, to what is right and true,The path real martyrs take and those who gaze on You;
61. Raise our children up as brave and pious scholars Who base their days on Your sweet light as true exemplars;
62. And unify the hearts of family and of friends,Facilitate for us in making our amends;
63. O Lord, bestow a clear decisive victory On all who aid this way and restore its dignity;
64. Possessor of great might, aid him and those who serve,And fill their hearts with aspirations they deserve;
65. Aid us in the light of this Mu^ammad’s way,And make its glorious end as bright as its first day;
66. Protect it through the works of its faithful and true scholars And elevate its lights to its rightful radiant colors;
67. Pardon and forgive us, and keep us safe from ill,And all submitted ones who seek to know Your will;
68. Bestow Your lordly solace on the perfect Chosen One, Your plenitudinous grace upon his dazzling sun;
